[Looking4] Claytools with Omni Haptic Device

Does anyone have Claytools with the Omni Haptic device for sale?

Thanks,
David

David, if Andrew Werby doesn’t reply to you (he’s on Orchid now and
again), try http://www.computersculpture.com

He can clue you in… There’s just the haptic device (no claytools)
on ebay right now, BTW. There’s an old post on www.highend3d.com of
one for sale - you could email if he still has it. I guess you have
your reasons for wanting one when a $200 Wacom tablet and Zbrush or
Mudbox will do just about the same thing…

Yes, I’m an authorized Sensable distributor, and an Orchidian as
well. Plus I can offer a substantial discount on the system. For
those who aren’t familiar with it, this is a hardware/software system
that allows users the sensation of touching the 3d virtual model
they’re working on in the computer, as they sculpt on it in real
time. There’s nothing else like it, and it feels very natural to
people used to working on real materials with actual tools. I use it
a lot myself, and I really love it. Once you’ve made a part with
Claytools, you can export it via STL to either CNC carving machines
or additive “3d printers”, some of which produce models in a waxy
material that can be directly burned out and cast in gold or other
metals.
