Welcome to the forum!! you said you were a “craftsman, looking for
ways to improve.” The prescription: take a dose of the forum daily,
it will improve your jewelry life! One easy venue for improvement is
close to you. The William Holland School of Lapidary Arts is only
about a days drive from you, i believe. There you will find week
long courses, all things silver/gold/lapidary etc… Very reasonable
rates for room/board and instruction all rolled into one. It’s a
