Looking for info on titanium - niobium

Dear Orchidians,

I’ve been asked to prepare an article for Lapidary Journal on the uses of
titanium and niobium in jewelry. Since I’m looking to interview people who
use these metals in their creations, I thought I’d ask if any of you out
there on Orchid are working with one or both of these metals. If so, would
you be willing to discuss your techniques and inspirations with me? If so,
please drop me an e-mail and let me know when’s a good time to phone.
(After normal business hours is fine: like many of you, I work from a home
office and keep odd hours!)

I know I’ve seen a lot of really creative things done with niobium in
particular, since it has so much color potential, but I understand titanium
also has color potential and is becoming more popular. Whichever metal you
work in, I’d love to hear from you!

Hi Suzanne I have been working with both Ti and Nb for about ten
years now. I make mostly earings using both metals. I have built my
own anodizer as well. I can be reached at 602-750-6886 MST, or
480-303-4228 between 7:30 and 4:30 M through F.
