Looking for Egyptian Pendant

Hi all,

I’ve had a recent request from a customer to recreate a lost
pendant. The original pendant was a flat octagon with a
representation of the three Great Pyramids of Giza on one side and a
frontal view of the sphinx on the other. The customer’s description
was a little vague, but it sounds to me like the pendant was
die-struck, like a coin. It was probably a very inexpensive doodad,
but had a lot of sentimental value for the customer.

I did some web searches to try to find something similar, but no
dice. It seems that if someone went to the trouble to make up a die
for this design, it should still be around somewhere. I doubt that
anything I can make will approximate the original pendant, so I’d be
grateful for any leads you could provide in tracking down the
original (or similar) trinket. Please cc replies to my email address,
as I’m still catching up on yuletide Orchid Digests…

Thanks, as always, for all your help, and have a wonderful New Year!
