[Looking for] Bead

I am looking for a specific bead someone is using and buying it off
the internet. It is a sterling silver bead that is a tire-like shape
but where the “tread” would be, there are little imitation diamonds. If
you have seen this one, let me know. Diane

I believe they are called rondels, or rhondels. karen

Hi Diane, The little “tire” like beads sounds like rondelles or
spacers. Rio Grande has some from Swarovski on page 228 of the
August 2000 - August 2001 catalog.

Marta

Sounds like a piece of Swarovski. Rio Grande has this item listed in
their findings catalog.

I’ve also been trying to find a website for Hord - the primary
Swarovski distributor in the US. Or, better yet, a direct connection
to Swarovski. Can anybody provide the link?

Mark- I think what you are looking for is a rondell. Many companies
sell them. Rio Grande in Albuquerque, NM and Crystal Findings in
Philadelphia 215-568-4200 has silver gold plated and CZ and colors,
and Nina Designs has them in 14k and precious stones
www.ninadesigns.com . I order a lot from Rio, and they’re great.
I’ve never ordered from Nina, I just visited the web site (not
affiliated with any of these companies). You might also check Fire
Gems, I think they’re on the web.

Hope that helps.

Try Daniel Swarovski,

I think he is one of the sons. Sells through high end department
stores. May have web site that may lead you back to the company.
Otherwise try their UK (HQ) on 01923 816366 you’ll need the
international dialing codes ofcourse. Anything relating to glass
