Lily (Lilly?) Root Powder fo Cloissone enamel

I learned about lily root from Barbara Minor in a class at Arrowmont. A friend recently took a class from her and she told them about Elmer’s Glue. So I think it is an accepted thing now. If both Linda and Barbara use it, I’d say it is worth a try. I got my lily root from EnamelWorks back when they still carried it. I had searched other places for it before I ordered it from Coral. If found it at herbal medicine and natural food stores but it came in a quantity that was way more than I needed. You could try to see if Coral would tell you who her distributor was and go directly through them. Usually distributors have too large of a minimum order, but it is worth a try. Lily root is really sticky. I like it.

I don’t know if anyone already posted this, but dried lotus root (renkon) is available in most Asian markets. It is usually sold in dried slices. Grind it in a coffee mill.
