Lapidary Journal cover

I recently responded off line to Keith Hale about something he posted
on the credit card thread. He happened to mentioned his work in on
the cover of the current March Lapidary Journal. It is nice to see a
fellow Orchidian achieving such a great honor.

Since his work was a piece done with reticulated silver, I gave him a
million questions as to how I can improve my work doing this
technique. He graciously answered all of them and I would like to
publicly thank him for doing this.

CONGRATULATIONS FOR GETTING ON THE COVER OF MY FAVORITE MAGAZINE.

Sincerely,
Roxan O’Brien

I’d like to send my hearty congratulations to Kieth Hale! The piece
is beautiful and intruiging.

Roxan and/or Kieth-- I suspect that I don’t speak for myself alone in
saying that I would be thrilled if you would share those questions
and answers publicly as well, since I was seriously considering doing
the same thing, and prefer not to cause anyone to duplicate efforts.
I don’t believe I have ever seen reticulation used better. (Yeah, it
reads like butter, but it is quite sincere) --Noel
