I just wanted to post and let everyone know impressed I am with Rio.
I have been dealing with them for the past couple of years and have
always recieved good service and prompt shipping.
Last week I called to buy a Pepe 110 combination rolling mil but I
wanted the new platinum series. The rep had the mills in stock but
didn’t know if any were the new platinum series. She offered to have
someone go the warehouse open boxes and check for the mill I wanted
and said she would call back in the afternoon or following day. To
my surprise I got a call about an hour and a half later saying she
had a 110 combination mill in the platinum series. I ordered the
mill on a Mon and recieved the mill Thursday, all the way across the
country. Thumbs up on the mill so far.
Another kudo to Rio, I sent in about 2.5 pounds of sterling scrap and
one small piece of gold filled wire. On the container I only marked
the silver thinking the gold would be negligible. I also expected the
refining to take quite a while due to the cost of precious metals.
Rio comes through again, I get a call from a rep 4 days after I
mailed it, telling me the weight of the scrap “on the money” as well
as telling me they found .09 grams of gold. Talk about accuracy,
honesty and service! THANKS RIO GRANDE
