A couple Kraftwerks updates- Ganoksin is a new co sponsor, and will
have a table at the event. Thank you Hanuman!
Phil Rothengatter has had to withdraw from Kraftwerks this year. The
good news is that Jason Penn has agreed to come in and do some
carving and cabbing for us.
An addition to the Kraftwerks schedule is the second White Gold
Roundtable. This year we focus on whatever the MJSA/WGC white gold
task force has ready to announce by that time, a short talk about the
latest white alloys and a longer take on rhodium performance
experience. This will be hosted by myself. Scheduled for Sunday
morning. Peter Richardson a well known consultant will be there as
one of our additional experts (his nickname is the answer grape, just
squeeze a question in).
Marc “Doc” Robinson ( the Kraftwerks founder) will return to
demonstrate casting his latest innovation- Sterling silver enhanced
with platinum. Saturday night we hold “The Brainstorm” at our BBQ
dinner /open bar Saturday evening. This is a key part of the event.
Bring your most vexing jewelry making questions or even better
examples, and our host of experts will help you sort it out.
Mold cutting will be demonstrated at the Kerr table, and they will
have tons of on waxes, investments and making molds.
Jurgen Maerz is expected to attend as well so bring those Pt issues
with you as well.
