The Southwest School of Art & Craft is one of the largest
community-based arts schools in the nation with departments in
Ceramics, Drawing, Digital Imaging, Fibers, Metals, Painting, Paper &
Book Arts, Photography, and Printmaking. In addition to the Adult
Studio Program, the Young Artist Programs, and the Public Programs,
the SSAC presents outstanding exhibitions of contemporary art in the
Russell Hill Rogers Galleries, which total 3,500 square feet and
elsewhere throughout the two-campus complex.

The Southwest School of Art & Craft is currently accepting
applications for the position of Associate Curator of Exhibitions and
seeks candidates with comprehensive knowledge in the fields of
contemporary art and craft. The Associate Curator is responsible for
all aspects of exhibition research, management, promotion, and
installation design, as well as for building excellent relationships
with artists. Successful candidates will have had at least five years
curatorial experience, a MA or MFA in a related field, and excellent
communication skills.
