Hello,
I wanted to ask the community if anyone out there recommends some
software to aid in tracking jewelry production. There are so many
steps in our production cycle (wax, casting, polishing, setting,
final polish…etc) and each piece changes hands so many times. Once
the number of pieces grows it gets hard to manage. Does anyone out
there recommend some process that they use and like. I was thinking
of a barcode system that prints job envelopes and can be scanned for
each stage the piece is in. Each time it is scanned it updates the
computer system.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
