[Jewelry Attractions] Denmark

I am also travelling around Germany , Denmark and the Netherlands
if anyone knows of quality outlets and jewellery galleries i
should see.

G’day Victoria In Copenhagen you should not miss the “Galerie Metal”,
Nybrogade 26, 1203 Copenhagen K, phone 33 14 55 40 (Open weekdays
from noon).

Also Galleri Tactus, Gothersgade 54, 3, Copenhagen , and Tactus 2,
Kronprinsensgade 12 st, Copenhagen , and Galleri Okker (check the
address in the phone book) are worth a visit.

The Kunstindustrimuseet, Bredgade 68, Copenhagen has a good
selection of jewellery (and a very good library) and at the Georg
Jensen Museum, Amagertorv 6, Copenhagen, has a huge selection of
silver hollowware from 1900 to 1940 with works of Johan Rohde,
Sigvard Bernadotte, K. Moeel Hansen, Harald Nielsen and others.

Outside Copenhagen the Museum of Koldinghus in Kolding (Jutland) has
a good selection of earlier silwerware, and also some times
exhibitions of contemporary works. If you tell me off list when you
are planning your visit, I shall check their exhibit plans.

And if you can spare the time I can recomment a trip to Bornholm -
Denmarks Sunshine Island - in the Baltic Sea, just three hours from
Copenhagen. If you come here, I would like to meet you, so just let
me know off list.

Kind regards

Greetings, Victoria,

If you get to Amsterdam, it’s definitely worth the trip to the
Rijksmuseum, which has some stunning pieces (and an unparalleled set
of paintings and sculptures, as well). You should also set aside
time to visit the Diamond Exchange and some of the galleries in that
area.

It’s a wonderful city… one that I feel in love with!

Happy travels,
