I’ll be 1 week in Bangkok and 1 week in Singapore. I’ve seen all the
classic tourist sites. Can anybody give me suggestions about
galleries/museums/shops/etc concerning artistic contemporary and/or
ethnic jewelry? Last year I bought some interesting sterling silver
beads in Chiang Mai. Could I find the same in Bangkok? Linda

In Singapore, if you have bought a Singapore Stopover Holiday or
Stopover Splendour package, you can ride on the SIA Hop-on bus for
free. If not, you can buy a ticket for S$6 (adult) for a day pass
you can visit many scenic places. Singapore island (24 x 19 km) is
so small that one or two day will finish your tour.
Singapore National Museum got good collection of jade carving and
other gemstone carving. Visit Sentosa island to see butterfly
garden, natural stone figures, etc.
