I would like to invite Orchid members to a JDPN reunion meeting on
Saturday, June 3 from 12:30 -2:00pm at the Sands, Conference Room #104
in Las Vegas. The Jewelry Design Professionals Network is a non-profit
organization dedicated to increasing communication and resources on
jewelry related issues. I am a student intern for the JDPN, and our
members include jewelry designers, bench jewelers, manufacturers,
retailers and a lawyer specializing in jewelry design copyrights. I
have learned a great deal from attending JDPN meetings and encourage
Orchidites to check out their website at www.jdpn.org to learn more
about them. On Wednesday, June 14 there will be a JDPN summer social
event at the Chelsea Grill in NYC. This will also be a good chance to
meet people from the JDPN and eat some really good food in an informal
