Jars for jewelry cleaner

Hello all. I am searching for jars with plastic strainers inside
to put our own jewelry cleaner into. I know that you can purchase
cleaner from various companies and have your logo put on the jar,
but it would be more economical and more fun to make our own. At
this point, I have found many bottling sources, but none with the
strainer type device that makes insertion and removal of jewelry so
much easier. I have logged a lot of hours searching this out, to no
avail, so if anyone knows of a source or has a suggestion, I would
greatly appreciate it. Have a great day.

Hi Brenda,

Don’t know how largea quantity you’retalking about. But for a small
number of jars this approach might work.

Find a plastic cup/jar/container that’ll fit into the outside jar. If
it’s too tall cut the top off. Use a small (35 watt) soldering iron
with a clean round tip to melt 10-15 holes in the bottom. Insert the
perforated plastic container in the jar.

I might add that this works well for containing things in the
ultrasonic as well.

If you are looking for the strainer only. I had seen this in a
catalog from overseas and also the brush that they put in the jar. I
have not seen any one selling all three or even any two together.
Bottle & Covers are always cheaper in the US. If you want to folow
up on these items seperately please contact me.
