I came to jewelry making after a trip to Thailand where I bought a few nice stones that I then wanted to set. I have been working with my hands since I was a child and am an Industrial Arts (shop, woodworking, metals…) teacher by training. I like the way metal can be moved, pushed, shaped, added to, textured and colored.

Inspiration comes from the stones, my love of plants, flowers and the local landscape, especially a 90 acre farm with hills, pasture and a lake.
