J.Grahl Design (Colored Stones)

Hi Jim,

Sorry for the confusion. I was referring to the Scythian comb that you listed (the one from the Hermiage Museum). I must’ve replied to the wrong post. That’s what I get for commenting with in the evening with a Manhanttan in hand :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Red today…
A pretty little (1.5 ct) Burma ruby in a hand fabricated platinum ring. Bordering the ruby are two, 1/2 round shaped diamonds and additional round diamonds accenting the sides.
18K yellow details soften the look a bit. The background is hand engraved with a “Florentine” pattern. Fun to make…
Enjoy,
Jim

to AWE upon from your immense collection of images and memories.
Great work and such inspirational pieces, my day starts good on seeing

South Western Color (2)
Round two…
This was a series experiment in this design theme, based in rich colors and materials, (tourmaline), sourced from Pala Mines in San Diego, the intent was to capture the spirit of an earlier time.
Hand fabricated 22k yellow gold, hand hammered and some pieces showing a reticulated (textured) finish around the stone.
All detailed with platinum accents.
Enjoy,
Jim
