I know it seems like an unlikely source but a Mag/Giu 2006 issue of
the Gioiello Vogue just crossed my desk and it features an amazing
report of the best jewelry schools or programs on the international
scene today. Included with the prestigious programs at the Royal
College of Art, London; and Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam; are the
jewelry programs at Indiana University, Bloomington and San Diego
State Univ., San Diego!

Congratulations to Randy Long and Helen Shirk for their excellent
work at leading those programs to a position of international
recognition for jewelry training and art education.
