There is also a great DVD out called “Patina Basics: Color solutions
for metalsmiths”. This is put out by Tim McCreight so you know it is
quality info that is being shared. It is an excellent resource. I
watched it not too long ago and this really takes the mystery out of
the process. I loved it enough to buy it myself.
