I don't think anyone has suggested using Argentium (AS) wire and fusing the links to make your chain.
Good point. I meant to mention Argentium but forgot. One thing to be
careful of with Argentium chain making, is that the links can easily
fuse to each other if you’re not careful to heat sink the adjacent
links. It would be brilliant though for such an application. I made a
loop in loop chain with Argentium wire, and it’s fantastic! Of course
there was no danger of fusing the links together as they are all
soldered closed, shaped then woven together. Although I had to be
careful when fusing my end caps onto the ends!
