I have just been invited to submit an entry into a closed contest.
They have selected the artists they want in the contest and it seems
that I am the only Canadian in it. This is a challange more than a
jewellery contest but it is exciting. The instructions are the vessel
must be able to contain water, be entirely made out of silver, it has
to have 3 different finishes on it and it has to be themed as a
dragon. Oh yes the finishing touch is that it has to look like it has
been in the ground for 3000 years (in other words a long time). I did
my design, made my piece and have just sent it in. So here’s to
crossing my fingers.
