Investment tracked out of studios

there are a number of companies that sell large mats that can be
placed near casting, and polishing/finishing areas as well as near
entrances that utilize what is virtually a giant piece of glorified
and enhanced masking tape like material- though much more adhesive ,
yet footwear release is easier than if one stepped onto a pile of
any tape- that not only traps investment, but also precious metals
being walked out of the studio. The topmost layer is torn off and put
into its own receptacle and then sent to the refinery with your
semi-annual scrap shipment…there are about 50 ( though as high as
100) sheets to the mat pads, and they are inserted into a vulcanized
frame so that the “pads” can easily be replaced ( after a couple of
months in a high traffic area, or less in a single person space) with
refills. Not only does it effectively trap investment, dirt going
into the shop, and metals but a bevy of other particles and bits too.
The return with the addition of the sheets to a refining order would
amaze you, particularly if one is placed under the bench, or
finishing area… I use a rainbow “air treatment system”- or so the
manufacturer would like it termed- that traps micro-particles and
all else vaccumed up into a 2 gallon or more basin of water. nothing
is exchanged in the air except in low /highhumidity areas- the
machine helps adjust the humidity temporarily- or if one wants to add
pure essential oils intentionally, the oils though trapped on the
water’s surface serve to scent the space. it works infinitely better
than any vaccum I have ever experienced and the air is noticeably
cleaner and feels recharged, once run in a given space ( it can be
used as a vacum, or to filter air through it, in addition to other
uses that come with the attachments available).

Were can I find these items? I really like the machine as well.
Thanks Johneric

Would you tell us the name of this 'air treatment system?

It’s Called Rainbow air Treatment Systems. My caretaker just bought
a second one from a dealer on ebay that sells then for a third of
what they cost from a rainbow retailer…we had one for over twenty
years that never wore out (,puts the dyson things to shame, as well
as HEPA filtration) and makes the air noticeably lighter, cleaner, and
as i said traps everything in water so nothing escapes back into the
atmosphere, but negative ions.that original 20 yr.old took a swim in
hurricane katrina and we are presently miles from anything
resembling civilization or a rainbow store…none the less this
person can help you get a new one really cheaply, with at least a
three year warranty ,etc…I recommend the SE models…they do
everything…and there’s an optional filter that you can buy that goes
into it for non-water soluble particulate stuff, not to mention it
also inflates rubber kayaks, sucks air out of storage bags, and does a
world of other things in addition to keeping your home and shop
ultra-clean…you wouldn’t believe what it does for cleaning a
mattress!!!

the persons email is:IMwishingstar@hotmail.com her name is Tammy,
and she was really quick, efficient, and when the brand new head
didn’t work she sent out a replacement overnight… you may want to
mention my name so she’ll make the connection…she may also have
some listed on ebay under that name at
present —don’t know…but if you need a phone number i can get you
that too…If i had to pick a state-of the art shop filter or a
rainbow…hands down the rainbow would win, whatever the cost…
