Gem cutter and jewellery designer, part time. Only started making
jewellery 6 years ago and haven’t made the step to full time yet, if
I ever will. Am quite happy with the way it is going right now. Still
a big learning curve, like anything in life, I suppose. Since I
started designing, I always look what people are wearing. A bit like
gemstone fossicking: once you start, you can’t keep your eyes of the
