Hello Orchid Group!
I am sooooo Happy that there a group like Orchid.
I decided to design jewelry after taking a casting course from a
a local jewelry store(that was 3 years ago). To this day all of
the jewelry I make is still done by casting. Since I do not
have any casting equipment, I use the community center and any
guilds that have the equipment.
I am currently working to get a GG certificate from GIA.( I just
have to sit for that 20 stone test).
I do a lot of wax carving, since I love to cast bracelets(not
just half bracelets but the whole thing). My main interest is
definitely casting 22k gold bracelets and bangles.
I hope to put some of designs on Orchid as soon as I get my
photographs made of my designs.
