I’m a slot machine technician at a casino in Reno, and my wife
and I own a small jewelry shop. She works the shop most of the
time, I do a day every week or two. Most of the jewelry is bead
necklaces, earrings, etc., that she designs and strings featuring
semi-precious gemstone beads, Austrian crystal and other similar
materials. We also do minor repairs and re-stringing, including
re- knotting. We are taking a jewelry fabrication class at the
local college, and we hope to become proficient enough to add
metalwork repairs and original metalwork to our shop.
