My wife, Diana, and I own and operate Hansen Designs a
contemporary fine art jewelry design company. We specialize in
one-of-a-kind and limited editions pieces of wearable fine art
jewelry, incorporating 14kt, 18kt, and Platinum with unusual
including different druzy’s, agates, tourmalines,
moldavites, and various meteorites as well as diamonds and other
stones. Work is fabricated by hand with the exception of ring
pieces which are cast and then assembled. Both my wife and I
design, however the gold work is left to me. Hansen designs was
a finalist this year in the Niche competion in two catagories,
collaboration, and gold jewelry-limited edition, one-of-a-kind.
Hansen Designs has been a fully functioning jewelry design
studio since 1986. I have been a goldsmith for 16 years,
starting out on Jewelers Row in Philly as a repair mechanic (as
we were referred to). I have done repair, refurbish,
production, and custom hand fabrication work in my career, but my
love is the unusual, one-of-a-kind creation. Commissions are
accepted in this area.
