Hello friends,
I have an internet order from a customer in Australia and I live in
the USA…Does Australia have the same ring sizing standard as the
US? Will ring sizes in Europe and Asia match the ring sizes in the
US?
Thank you, Jim Lutz/BolaMan

hello,
I looked in my book and I didn’t find any specific australian ring
size. However I found this ringsize converter on the british National
Association of Goldsmiths web site:

I Hope it helps…
Personnally, I always use the inner circumference in mm, it avoid
most confusions.

No, the Australians use the British system of ring sizing. This
should give you the on your next question,
http://www.panpen.com/CustomRingSizeTable.htm how does it relate to
US sizes.

Here ya go.
Don’t worry I haven’t figured it out yet either!

Hello Jim,
There is great confusion about ring sizing even when everyone is
using the same scale. It gets even worse when you try to compare to
other systems. The root cause is that many people cannot measure
things very well. I put together a web page that is pretty good for
comparison, but it also has a reality check so that you and your
customer can see if the size they think they are is realistic. You
can see it at

This chart was worked out by my mathematician wife. He specialty is
multiplying (six kids) but she is also pretty good with spread
sheets.

Hi Jim, here ring sizes are as follows - there is 1.3 mm difference
between full sizes ( internal diameter) and.65 mm per half size, e.g
size O is 56 mm, O and a half is 56.65 mm, P is 57.3 mm, etc.
