Announcing the International Metal Jewelry Artistry Awards to be held in conjunction with the 18th annual Bead&Button Show in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Artists and art students are invited to submit artwork today to win in multiple categories. Visit http://www.beadandbuttonshow.com/metal_contest to enter now.
Professional Jurors include metal artist Tom Muir, head of the jewelry and metalsmithing area in the School of Art at Bowling Green State University; James Carter, past 1st place in enameling winner of the Saul Bell Design Award Competition; and Hazel Wheaton, former Editor of Art Jewelry magazine.
Prizes totaling more than $3,750 will be awarded in the professional and student categories, and finalists artwork will be on display at the Bead&Button Show in June of 2018. Winners will also be featured in the October issue of Bead&Button magazine, and be displayed on BeadandButtonShow.com. Entries due April 6, 2018.
