Susan,
The classes I am aware of are:
1.Anticlastic /Synclastic forming at Alberta College of Art and
Design. From David Popham: course number EXJW061X1, May 5,6 & 7,
Gulaine Cyr, instructor. (http://www.acad.ab.ca) This was posted on
Orchid on 4/4/2006
- Fold Forming worshop with Charles Lewton-Brain at his studio.
June 26th thru the 29th. (brainnet@telus.net) This was posted on
orchid around March 25th.
I am planning on taking Charles’ class at the end of June. The
Anticlastic work will have to wait a while. Sure do want to go to
Brian Smith’s school in Ireland for a Michael Good workshop one day
soon. The deer antler thing works.
I was introduced to Fold Forming in a workshop by Betty Helen Longi
too. Changed my work completely. Now I want to change the scale that
I am working in. There is a 3’ x 10’ sheet of copper begging to be
dinged.
Hope this helps. Do you live anywhere near Asheville, NC?
