Isn’t there a chance we are dealing with a Yurman (move)? His
designs were based on previous works; were not original and yet, he
was the first one to copyright them or legally “claim sole right” to
make them.

will contact you off list but boy do i have pictures, and projects
that date back 13 years when i first started writing projects for
Lapidary Journal (back when they were Lapidary Journal, workshops. i
think there were a total of 13 they published in a 10 year period
when i was submitting to them. they are still selling some of the
projects online on their site.(no funds to me!)
there is a huge group of wire crochet people selling at the Este.com
auction site. i know i am on one international site out of England,
will try to find that link too if that will help. there is a Swiss
site that will be selling my bridal neckpieces but due to illness
this year (2 bouts of e-coli with in 3 months is impossible) i’m not
quite up to full power yet. i understand i hit 107degrees. i did have
weird dreams it was summer…
i do standard crochet, with one stitch on the hook, and also the
afghan stitch, mostly, cause when i use beads on something like an
amulet bag, you get almost a loomed look. i don’t know how to do ANY
bead work, see i do own a cap key, loom work is way over my head, but
with afghan stitch you even can figure out how big the piece will be,
and know how many beads to string on, stitches across and row amount.
hate to string beads, knowing is a good thing.
on the image event site on the link below, there should be a
necklace that is a flat crochet, afghan stitch weave, about 7
stitches across and about 18" long…comes to a point, with a central
stone, then, there are assorted stones stitched wire wrapped onto it.
there is another, a plainer one, but i think it moved and is a tad
blury. for you i’ll do better.

As the original poster, let me say: Wow, you Orchids are great! Thank
you all for your input and encouragement! Not only have I gathered
some valuable for the specific case, but also learned
much new and interesting as well.
