Integrating photographs into jewelry

I would like to integrate photographs into my jewelry, and I am
looking for ways to cover them with acrylic or some kind of non-
aggressive plastic . Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks
a million in advance- Heike

Hello Heike, For using photos I suggest covering them with tiny
sheets of mica. If you separate the mica into layers, it will be
totally transparent and virtually impervious to scratches. You can
get the mica from an enameling supplier, such as Thompson’s enamels.

Heike, I use a product called EnviroTex Lite to cover photographs. I
know there are other brands out there that work the same way. It is
a 2 part epoxy resin that cures in 24 hours and can be found in craft
stores or Wal-Mart. Good luck
