Insulated Tweezers

I have insulated tweeezers that I use to hold delicate objecys whilst
soldering however the tips of them have bent outwards with the heat.
Can I straighten them again?

I’m a newbie to metalsmithing, but in one class we did this: heated
the ends until very hot, pressed them together with pliers until
straight. That should do it.
