Info on magnetic tumblers

Hi - I am not sure how to search for a topic on Orchid -

yesterday I was looking to find out info on magnetic tumblers - I
want to know if one can use soap and water in with the steel pins
rather than the special formula which is sold.

I searched for magnetic tumblers and got oodles and oodles of pages.
it would have taken me a very long time to get to an answer. Am I
missing the link to the sorting mechanism for subject? thanks for
your help,

lisa, You can use dish washing detergent BUT not soap and water.
Been using it since it was invented by the japanese almost a decade
ago. Back then i was told by the manufacturer that it is the same
