In Memoriam for Robert King Whiteside

ROBERT KING WHITESIDE
(1950 - 2006)

A Celebration of Life Open House will be held for friends and family
at The Veranda Restaurant on Saturday, November 11, 2006, from 2:00
P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Personal remembrances will be shared beginning at
3:00 P.M.

You are invited to bring any photographs and personal memories that
you would be generous enough to share.

Robert is survived by his life partner, Warren Butler, and his older
brother, Harry Whiteside. They ask that in lieu of flowers, donations
be made in Robert’s memory to Franklin County Sheriff’s Department,
P.O. Box 718, Mount Vernon, TX 75457 and/or Mount Vernon Music, 6337
Lange Circle, Dallas, TX 75214.

Warren,

We’ve never met, but I’d like to let you know that there are many of
us who share in your loss. I never got to meet Robert personally, but
we spoke on phone some, emailed a few times, and I’d visit his site
periodically to keep up on what he was creating. I had hoped to get
out that way and visit, but it just never came about…

Many of us will be watching as more comes available.
Perhaps someone can learn some little thing that could prevent this
from happening again…

Please keep in contact with us (the goldsmithing community) and let
us know if any of us can be of any help in any way.
