Imaging jewellery /a picture's worth a thousand bucks!

Ok, everybody I did a graphic example of why scanning one kind
of jewelry versus photography doesn’t do well for websites. The
same piece of jewelry, one scanned on a flatbed scanner and one
photographed semi-professionally (by me…) Its at:

Your web page said: Its been my experience that customers won't
buy jewelry represented by the image on the left. 

Curious. I have a feeling that my future web page will give me
no end of trouble if your experience is standard. Not knowing
which pix you wanted us to like better, I liked the one on the
left.
