How to bezel set a human tooth

I am trying to bezel set a human tooth for a ring. The ring will
look something akin to one of Polly van der Glas’ rings -

The tooth is mostly hollow inside and very fragile. My thought was
to fill it with glue before I try to set it in order to help
strengthen its core. Does anyone have advice for the best way to set
the tooth without cracking it?

(Oh, and for the record, this tooth is not one of mine nor did I
obtain it from a reluctant or unenthusiastic party. I bought it
online. You can truly buy anything online.)

Thanks,
Emily A.

Don’t fill it with glue. Use cement or Hydrocal. What cement is
best, is open to debate. I would hope Jeff Herman would chime in, he
probably knows best.

You bought someone’s tooth online??? It’s amazing what people will
sell :open_mouth:

Wow I’m glad I kept my extracted wisdom teeth… save them for a
rainy day
