Hi everyone in orchid land, I’m looking to hire my first sales
people. I’m interested in hearing other people’s comments,
suggestions, ideas on what I should know about pay/commission
structure, background checks, what to look for in sales people and
anything else you think will help me.

Sue The size of your store in volume will tell all about how much you
can pay. We paid straight 10% commission, that’s all. They earned
$42,000 to 61,000

You can pay a salary plus commission BUT commission should be at
LEAST 50% of the paycheck for it to work.
