Dear Orchidians, We are a small retail/casting/repair jewelers in
Maryland that have a small and talented staff, but we need more help
and of course, we need less expensive help. Right now we have a
very masterful goldsmith doing all the repairs, including soldering
jump rings and it is just not cost efficient - same in our casting
department. Our employee is exceptionally talented and earns her
salary several times over, but we need back up people here at a much
lower cost. Does anyone have suggestions as to where to locate good
production help? Do you advertise in local publications, or is
there a temp agency for jewelers? Also - sales staff for that
