I just received your book, “Hinges and Hinge-Based Catches for
Jewelers and Goldsmiths” and just want to say how thrilled and
impressed I am. It is considerably more than I was expecting.
I never realized how many variations there are on the basic
hinge. I have been too busy to really look at it closely,
however, from what I have seen, it is more than comprehensive
and understandable enough for even my sleep deprived mind. I am
looking forward to experimenting in my spare time (haha).
Seriously, I am sure that it will be an invaluable reference in
my repair work, and hopefully someday I will have time to get
back into design and use it more fully than.
