I would suggest that you do not argue with the customer with regard
to the price nor what constitutes hand made but merely tell them
that you will not hold them to purchasing it and then leave it at
that. If they want it, they will pay up and if not they can go
elsewhere and see if they get the same level of service you offered
them. I certainly wouldnt offer a discount because I used silver I
had bought rather then mined myself. This idea about what constitutes
hand made is a slippery slope argument, you have been honest but
given more than the customer needs so better to stop now
and leave it to them to make the next move.
