Could someone help me with the steps to hand stamp jewelry? I am a
beginner and would also need to know what specific tools I will need.
I am only interested in cold process.

Susie,
When I cold stamp on sterling, I make sure the support for the metal
is extremely smooth, I use a posished mini-anvil. As for tools, I
make my own using untempered tool steel stock, and cut them using
different burs on my rotory tool, then temper only the first fourth
inch or less. For geometric stamps, I use square stock. Hope this

What kind of jewelry are you wanting to stamp: finished jewelry,
castings or items to be fabricated. Depending on what stage the
jewelry is at is what determines what tools & steps that I will
take to stamp the jewelry.
