I’m studying engraving indoors because we are having a heat wave
right now and my crafting shed has no A/C.
I’m occasionally playing with enamelling at night whe it is cooler,
but I’ve heard that I need to stone my item before it is finished and
completely transparent.
I’m using Thompson glass powder samples someone gave me to practice.
And yes, I removed the fines.
I have an Inland flat-lap. What grit sequence should I use to finish
a plique-a-jour item, assuming fine silver for the frame?
Thanks,
Andrew Jonathan Fine
