Granulation question

Hi, Make a glue solution of 1 part hide glue, one part yellow flux
(new, clean flux) and 8 parts distilled water. (Amount of water not
critical, but equal parts glue and flux).

The glue burns off as the flux melts and takes over holding the
granules to the curved surface. If your granules fall off, you need
more flux in the mix. Or perhaps the granules are too large.
Granulation works best with small grains, especially on curved
surfaces.Looks better too. Look at antiquities in a museum or books.
Good luck.
