Glue for pearls

#1

This is just a note to remind everyone who works with pearls that it
is not a good idea to use super glue on pearls or knotting cord. It
becomes brittle and cannot be easily removed from the pearls if
necessary. There is a great product called hypo-cement that I use
inside clamshells and beadtips or anywhere else I need it around
pearls. It dries quickly but does not become brittle and is easliy
removed from places that it was not meant to be (pearls) without
harming anything. Also great for other beads and stones. Pearl
knotting is not all that hard and is a welcome break for me from
metal working. It is a lap project while viewing TV! So happy beading
and knotting, Suzanne
