I know of a woman in this area who uses beach glass in jewelry
and it is awesome. The glass is eroded so that it has rounded
edges and is “frosted” from the sand action. I was told her
husband cuts the copper sheet for her (I’ve only scene her large
cross pendants) and then she uses copper wire to wrap the stones
to the sheet metal.
I’ve started experimenting with dichroic glass and PMC. Since I
am not experienced in glass work, it’s quite a guess as to what I
am going to end up with! So far it’s been pretty successful.
