I have a question - could you please recommend reliable online sellers for purchasing faceted gemstones (preferably on bargain prices)? Been checking around many websites but they are way too overpriced.

Do a search on rock and mineral clubs in your area. Many have yearly shows where you can go to and pick out exactly what you want. Some even have wholesale sections if you have a resale tax certificate. I live near Syracuse, NY and our club show is in July. Start with:
