Hi,
Kenneth Gastineau posted this list on the ArtMetal list and I
had to subscribe. I am a metalsmith/jeweler/artist. I use a
variety of techniques to get what I am looking for ie:
fabrication, casting, die forming, electroplating, crocheting,
weaving, etching, forging, whatever else works. My pieces are
usuallly statement pieces or a series of 8 or 9. Depending on
weather I want a paycheck or am making something that will never
sell. Operate out of two galleries here is Phoenix that keep me
plenty busy - Don’t do fairs, or wholesale - too time consuming.
Have 2 kids and a great hubby that come first and my jewelry second
which suits me to a T- I am the grant writer for Arizona
Designer Craftsmen and have brought out lots of interesting
people to teach ( My volunteerism to my craft) Am looking
forward to lots of I noticed that someone was
having trouble with solder and it was suggested that they use
white out to mask the area. ONLY USE THE WATER BASED White Out.
It iis hard to find but the other stuff has nasty fumes that you
don’t want to breathe in. Looking forward to lots of neat
discussions.
