‘Exegesis’ The Jewellery Valuation Computer Program
Completely FREE of CHARGE to everyone

Exciting plans are afoot to launch version 5 of this jewellery
valuation program as SHAREWARE early in 1997. A distribution
program is being planned to ensure that EVERY jeweller and valuer
gets the full working program normally =A3499 at NO COST with NO
restrictions on use or copying.

Clive Billing and Cranmore Software the software publishers of
Exegesis said ‘No, we haven’t gone mad, the growth of the
InterNet has bought with it a revolution in the way software is
distributed. Take Netscape and MicroSoft Explorer the two leading
InterNet browsers, they are both available completely without
charge. Future developments of any software application rely on
critical mass and market share. There is currently a great deal
of ‘valuation software hype’ in the U.K. Anyone looking to buy a
software tool which will improve their valuation business, image
and capacity must, by now, be totally confused. Well we are
about to give all jewellery valuers an encouraging hand and bring
great clarity to a very small market by giving away the most
established, tried and tested jewellery valuation program -
Exegesis. We will also be running an ‘Exegesis User Group Forum’
on the InterNet through GemNet to support the users of the
program’.

Exegesis is the only established jewellery valuation software
package on the U.K market. The launch version took two man years
to write and was beta tested with working valuers for a full 12
months before a single copy was sold. That was back in 1991 and
an updated version has been added each year since. Tried and
tested for six years Exegesis set and continues to set the
standard for valuation software.

Exegesis is totally configurable, produces a descriptive
valuation in the users own style and can adopt any valuation
procedure at any time. Exegesis is totally user defined, which
means you will never need another program. Exegesis will run on a
tiny 286 computer upwards, an average valuation is just 60K of
disk space. The program will work in any spoken language, any
currency and with any level of sales tax. 1997 marks the start of
the seventh ‘bug-free’ year for Exegesis and Version 5 is going
to be available to all at NO charge. This offer is open to any
retailer, manufacturer or appraiser in any part of the world.

To register for your copy send an E-Mail to gemnet@gemnet.co.uk
with the Subject ‘free-xeg’ and we will keep you posted.
