Granulation sounds just like fusing, except that granulation calls
for the addition of copper and an organic glue. The silver-copper
alloy will flow at a lower temperature than plain silver.
Do you, personally, use copper when you fuse fine silver wire into
jump rings? After several experiments, I’ve decided that copper does
help the fusing to take place, but the join is rather brittle.
It was fun playing Mad Scientist, though.
