  ... That which is referred to as "brass" is the CARTRIDGE (not
the bullet  case. The cartridge case is brass, the bullet JACKET is
a copper alloy. Correct terminology goes a long way toward
eliminating misunderstanding methinks, eh?

Right, Judy. I’m aware that brass is a copper alloy. They call brass
brass because it’s made of brass, except that some brass is
aluminum or even steel. :wink:
